How to tell stories, ideas, and AI apart — safely

Big idea:
Stories are great.
Symbols are powerful.
Problems start when stories pretend to be rules for the real world.

HOW TO USE THIS

When you see a video, post, AI answer, or theory that feels deep or confusing:

Ask the questions level by level.
You don’t have to reach the bottom — any level is enough to pause.

🟡 LEVEL 1 — WORD CHECK

Question:
Are big words being used in a clear way?

Look for:

  • Science words used like magic words
    (“quantum,” “energy,” “frequency,” “alignment”)

Ask yourself:
👉 Do they explain what the word means — or just say it sounds important?

What this means:
Sometimes words are used to sound smart, not to explain.

🟠 LEVEL 2 — STORY OR MACHINE?

Question:
Is this a story, or are they saying it really works this way?

Look for:

  • “Your thoughts control reality”
  • “Attention creates the world”
  • “This system explains everything”

Ask yourself:
👉 Is this a metaphor — or are they saying it’s literally true?

What this means:
Stories help us think.
They are not machines.

🟡🟠 LEVEL 3 — DOES IT ARGUE WITH ITSELF?

Question:
Does the idea change rules when questioned?

Look for:

  • “It works, but only if you trust it”
  • “If it doesn’t work, you weren’t ready”
  • “Doubt is the problem”

Ask yourself:
👉 Are questions welcomed — or pushed away?

What this means:
Good ideas don’t get angry at questions.

🔴 LEVEL 4 — CAN IT BE TESTED?

Question:
Can anyone check if this is true?

Look for:

  • No way to test it
  • No way to be wrong
  • Every result “proves” the idea

Ask yourself:
👉 What would show this idea is wrong?

If the answer is “nothing” → pause.

What this means:
Some ideas are stories, not facts — and that’s okay.

🔴 LEVEL 5 — DOES IT MAKE YOU FEEL RESPONSIBLE FOR EVERYTHING?

Question:
Does this idea put too much weight on you?

Look for:

  • “You must stay aligned”
  • “Bad things happen if you don’t focus right”
  • “You are responsible for reality”

Ask yourself:
👉 Does this make me calmer — or more scared?

What this means:
No idea should make you feel like you control the universe.

🔴 LEVEL 6 — DOES IT SOUND TOO CERTAIN? (AI WARNING)

Question:
Does it sound very confident — but never unsure?

Look for:

  • Perfect explanations
  • No “I don’t know”
  • AI answers that sound wise but vague

Ask yourself:
👉 Is this confident because it’s true — or because it sounds smooth?

What this means:
AI can sound right without being right.

🟥 LEVEL 7 — DOES IT TRY TO CONTROL PEOPLE?

Question:
Is this idea being used to tell people how to behave?

Look for:

  • “Good people believe this”
  • “Disagreeing means you’re not mature”
  • “This is the only responsible way to think”

Ask yourself:
👉 Is this helping people — or controlling them?

What this means:
Ideas should help people think, not tell them who they are.
